Why Workshops With Drama?
- Seeing scenarios play out in front of your eyes increases the amount of learning that enters the long-term memory
- It is an approach that engages hearts and minds, and creates inspiring moments that can stay with you forever
- Drama workshops are perfect for those teams who get a lot of development and need something different, and for addressing sensitive subjects in a fun high-impact way
- Despite what many think, this methodology doesn’t necessarily work out more expensive than classroom training, but it certainly packs a bigger punch!
Our Drama Workshop Process
Getting to Know You
We get to know your organisation; to understand the culture, language, specific challenges, or behaviours that need bringing to the surface. By exploring how you want things to look as a result of the training we are able to focus on the end result and deliver a greater return on your investment.
Our Drama Workshop Process
Handpicking the Team
We choose actors that reflect your organisation’s demographic and a subject-specialist that understands your sector, to align with the needs of your organisation and target audience. The size of the delivery team is scalable to accommodate groups from 12 to 200.
Our Drama Workshop Process
Scoping to Sign-Off
Our Learning Design Genius’ scope your event and write scenarios to first-draft, which is then submitted to your business for comments and feedback – before final sign-off. Depending on the size of the group, key learning objectives, venue and a bundle of other variables, we select from Forum Theatre, Hot-Seating, Role-Play or Flash Mob to make an impact which won’t be forgotten.
Our Drama Workshop Process
Rehearsals, then Showtime!
Drama based scenarios are given to the team ahead of the live events, so the actors are word-perfect before they arrive. Depending on the complexity of the scenarios, actors can rehearse onsite, before the event or in advance. Then it’s showtime!
