The Story

For over 10 years RightTrack Learning provided an extensive range of development programmes for managers and colleagues at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), one of the largest oil producing companies in the world.

Over this time, a range of leadership and management topics were delivered by expert facilitators, including Finance for Non-Financial Management, Teamwork & Team Building, Supervisory and Management Fundamentals, Leading a Team, as well as a broad range of interpersonal skills programmes.

With a range of delegate levels, varying from senior, middle- and first-time managers, and those working in administrative, medical, engineering, and technical fields, the programme content was always tailored to suit the different roles. The Programme

At KPC employees are fortunate to receive a wealth of development to enhance their roles and support them in fulfilling their career ambitions.

Our challenge was to ensure that every course was designed to be engaging and supportive to encourage take up of the new skills and knowledge therefore the training content was carefully designed, in collaboration with KPC.

A range of different learning activities were included, such as participative group discussions which were relatable to the attendees’ roles, formal input from the trainer on the latest models and techniques and profiling tools to develop self-awareness. To support the transfer of learning from the training room to the workplace, the programme design allowed delegates time for self-reflection and action planning.

The Impact

The programmes, which were delivered continuously over 10 years, received great feedback. KPC, who have an enthusiasm for learning the latest techniques and embrace new techniques, have a high standard for training; unless attendee feedback is above 75%, training provides are not invited back. RightTrack Learning were amongst the highest scored of the global providers, with excellent feedback from the attendees over 10 years.
