The Story

In 2002, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, sought a provider of people-focused, engaging training to support their objective of upskilling their engineering, architectural and bio-medical graduates.

Assisting Arab and other emerging countries around the globe in developing their economies, the organisation wanted to ensure the graduates were trained to increase their confidence, knowledge and skills within the private sector so a tailored approach needed to be taken.

After successfully submitting a proposal in 2004, RightTrack Learning have been invited back bi-annually to deliver this prestigious programme.

The Programme

The programme, which is delivered over 10 weeks, includes a range of providers and trainers delivering to cohorts of 15 graduates on a variety of subjects.

With close collaboration from the organisation’s project team, a suite of content was designed for RightTrack Learning’s sessions, focusing on topics from teambuilding, creative problem solving and innovation skills to time-management, self-management and goal setting skills.

Assisted with a challenge of keeping the graduates inspired and involved throughout the learning journey, RightTrack Learning’s design team and trainers incorporate highly-participative content into the training which cater to all learning styles such as meaningful discussions, learning activities that challenge, videos, anonymous quizzes, psychometrics as well as formal input from the training specialist.

Back in pre-Covid days, the training was delivered face-to-face but since the pandemic, the training changed platforms to live-virtual; an opportunity RightTrack saw to be even more creative. Since 2020, we introduced drama into the training for Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development using our experienced team of professional actors to bring real-life scenarios to life and allowing the graduates to challenge the situation and prompt outcomes.

The Impact

Since the roll-out of this programme, RightTrack Learning have received great feedback and year-on-year have further developed the sessions to ensure the learning is usable when the graduates move into the workplace.

At the end of the training, a specifically designed assessment to measure graduates’ understanding of the models and techniques is completed, with scores resulting in 75%+.
